Last night on BBC News = 0 items about Trump's vindication. During the last years of his broadcasts, Rush Limbaugh was constantly told that the Durham Report would guarantee the re-election of Trump, but the Report failed to appear and Biden was elected. Now Biden is preventing an investigation into Hunter's Chinese connections. I miss the commentaries of Rush Limbaugh and because of the time difference I was able to hear him at 5pm onwards by getting a local US station stream on the Internet. Some of the local commercials for cafes, etc., I got to know very well!

Ground Zero for the 'Russia Hoax' is Stirling University which employed Mifsud and of which BBC Radio 4's 'Today' anchor was the Vice-Chancellor! Now that is interesting because the doyen of 'fake news' comes from next door to Stirling at Slamannan, and he was trained on Scottish newspapers and went on to run America's biggest 'fake news' tabloid and he became the friend of Mort Zuckerberg, a Democrat and supporter of Obama and Clinton. So 'fake news' was turned around in Orwellian fashion to mean that true news was 'fake news' and it all came out of Scotland who were acting for MI5/6 and its lapdog Mr Steele who circulated a story about 'pissing prostitutes'. It's not America that is corrupting everything, it is the British Crown and its political servants. When Trump plays golf in Scotland he is walking into the lion's den and almost tempting the British Crown to rub him out - just as they kill off all opponents. Britain is the enemy and Americans are too stupid for words by fawning over the British Crown. But its not another Hollywood, it is the most evil and corrupt criminal gang ever created.

I guess Andy, it's because Radio Caroline is actually "Doing things" & not just talking about things that might happen, but probably won't.

The Ross Revenge battle, to save it from going to the scrap-yard is just one example.
This ship, represents a time when a few dedicated folks, battled against the UK Government, to continue the sound of radio, free from Government control. OK now more a floating museum - but like all museums, important in it's own right.

This is the reality Andy - some posters hark back to past glories, some would also re-write history - given a chance - personally, I prefer to find enjoyment in what is happening right now.

I put this interesting anorak question to those who might really be in the know

If the Landward, hanging around very close on the Thurday or the Friday giving ulitmatums to to the point that a Ross Revenge representative went on board Some say good guy some say tray guytor

Could the Saturday boarding have been averted by simply swuitching off and doing what was ultimatley said in September 1990 after the evening 558 fiasco of "we are closing down to secure the futre of the station?"

Very little it would seem. One board is almost silent, the other is just bitching and whinging about Caroline ad nauseum to absolutely no effect.

Blog wise, Hagger (and associates) has been ominously quiet. Must be working on the soon to be published Compendium, I guess.

And that's about it apart from the usual knee jerk responses to posts here.

Still no word on 'the authority' reply to a complaint regarding the RR charity.

Ho hum.

Meanwhile, in the real world, where keyboards are very much a secondary consideration, life goes on for those dedicated volunteers, doing something constructive and having fun doing it.

("The book" will be as previously described: a single volume to be supported by a library of books. But the first book, the one that anoraks will read, is written in a manner that their brains should be able to grasp according to the mental age level that they seem to thrive in.)

The reality is that anoraks are unable NOT to read anything that mentions Radio Caroline, so they will, but will then tell you they didn't.

However Mervyn is teasing you because the much larger target audience is a long long way from old anoraks living in the past (oops sorry Mervyn have I just blown your cover).

I'm half way through Lyn Gilbert's book and for me the reoccurring theme so far is that Lyn tended to trust O'Rahilly far to much and that she was used just as drugs mules have been used for decades. This is not the stuff of an old Irish blagger, it's the way of a cunning manipulative individual that put the risk on everyone else.

Sadly she believed that Ronan was ripped off to the tune of £20k and yet allowed the supposed thief back on the Mi Amigo in months. More likely a 50/50 split and no questions asked?? Some of us can think for ourselves and O'Rahilly's money in Lichtenstein bank account(s) didn't come out of the ether. Rule 1 in any investigation - follow the money.

Trying to be as objective as possible, Mervyn Hagger's history is not great when it comes to successfully completing projects. For example, long promised books in one form or another have been classic cases of 'over promise and under deliver'. It would have been better to have actually produced something, get it published and then publicise it, letting it stand on it's own, rather than using the tactics he has employed over the years.

He has previously stated that his target audience includes far more than the anorak community, for which he is producing what appears to be a dumbed down version, but I fear that the subsequent volumes may never appear and, once again, expectations will exceed ability. We shall see.

Lyn Gilbert is a case in point. She quietly wrote her book without any of the histrionics and attention seeking associated with Mr Hagger. It's 'warts and all' about her rather naive relationship with Ronan O'Rahilly and her turbulent personal life. Quite a brave thing to do, and it adds credence to what some knew or suspected regarding O'Rahilly's modus operandi.

Of course and as might have been predicted, Mr Hagger dismissed Lyn's book as 'a ridiculous notepad of scribbles' and used his so called review as another opportunity to vent his spleen.

Writing a history of what happened to put Radio Caroline on the air in 1964 is not an easy task. I admit that I thought that it was.

In 2014 I set out to use all of the collected data at our disposal and that is when I ran into the first challenge in the form of 'Radio Man' - a book about Charles Orr Stanley. It was written by an accredited journalist and technical writer. I spoke repeatedly the grandson of Charles Orr Stanley about the origin of the research behind one paragraph on one page that debunked everything I knew, and everything everyone CLAIM that they know, about the origins of Radio Caroline in 1964.

I was about to give a lecture on this subject and so I admitted to the audience what happened. I then decided to let the facts speak for themselves and to set aside the library of material that had been collected by us.

The more that I delved into this topic the more I found myself spending a lot more money to buy books, subscriptions to other libraries and buying documents about everything to do with broadcasting from its early days, to the history of the offshore gas and oil industry, and Winston Churchill and PsyOps.

Although I had lived in Texas for almost 30 years and knew a lot of background information that others in the UK had never been introduced to, I also acquired the various manuscripts of Bill Weaver who closed down Radio Nord and began Radio Atlanta.

Then I found myself researching the JFK assassination, and Don Pierson's SRE/BR had me researching Bobby Kennedy's management of a secret CIA base from where Don Pierson had obtained the Olga Patricia.

In short, what has emerged since 2014 is a subject so vast, so different from anything that anyone else has ever thought about, let alone seen, that it totally shreds what everyone knows about many topics - including Radio Caroline.

This also includes a side venture into researching the life of Ronan O'Rahilly's father who was born in England and who worked closely with the UK government agencies to build his export business. His son Ronan was a two-bit flake who knew just about nothing about Radio Caroline.

In short, this topic can best be summed up by the words 'fake news' concerning the various collected accounts by people who have asserted that they are 'experts', and this includes Ray Clark and Paul Rusling.

I personally doubt that Malcolm Smith is as stupid as his cover named Peter Moore pretends to be. This former grease monkey built a business and dealt with the real world. I don't for a moment buy into the idea that he is a dupe of the Ray Clark - Paul Rusling School for Anoraks. Therefore I suspect that he has a down-to-earth agenda for building a real business for himself by turning the rusting remnants left by the Ross Revenge, into a genuine business - without pissing off the religiously fanatical anoraks who are financial supporting him under the false pretense that Malcolm is helping to keep the name of Radio Caroline alive.

The anoraks are in for disappointment if they continue to live into old age.

As for mainstream historians and broadcast media, well the real and as yet unpublished account in book form is something that they must ignore.

The academic version and a series (now up to number 7) of commentaries have been and continue to be published - and this includes both a book and a textbook. But their target audiences are specialized and no attempt has been made by me to link those publications with research still ongoing.

The book that has been promised is being written, and yes it is being written in a manner akin to a sensational novel, because it is in fact a sensational story that remains untold right now.

But, if you look carefully at the past contents of the two blogs (there are many other sites by us on the Internet which have gone unnoticed by the anoraks), then you will find large amounts of published research which the anoraks claim does not exist.

So, with books, magazine articles, academic articles etc already in print, it is not my fault if anoraks are some of the most stupid, childish and totally ignorant of human species on the Planet.

You know the old saying - "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink"? Well, you can lead anoraks to knowledge but you can't make them read.

Meantime the anoraks will just have to wait until this volume aimed at general readers comes on the market. It will, as previously promised also be supported by an academic series. But the reason they will not be combined is to allow this new single volume to reach as many human beings as possible, and most of them won't have any interest in Malcolm's personal ambitions.

Also, please note that Ray Clark and before him Keith Skues became the darlings of the 'enemy' BBC. Now that should tell you something about the rubbish those two have published.

As for Paul Rusling, well he is sort of a lone wolf looking for scraps to feed upon in order to support himself by glorifying his own scrounging.

Willoughby presented Monday's episode of This Morning alongside Josie Gibson, a former Big Brother winner who regularly guest presents the ITV daytime show.

Willoughby's statement at the start of Monday's This Morning seemed heartfelt and difficult for her to deliver - she was seen holding Gibson's hand for emotional support.

Perhaps one of the most striking things was that Willoughby only used Schofield's name once, right at the beginning.

After that, she did not even refer to his gender when discussing recent events. "They themselves felt they had to resign from ITV and step down from a career that they loved," she said in reference to Schofield.

Willoughby's continued presence on the programme will depend on her authenticity, and some viewers on social media were sceptical about her statement.

Some users drew comparisons with that horrible Irishsham who is widely regarded as redacting the start of commercial radio in Britain by the crime of bringing it forward by about 25 years
