The more I think about it and read new information, admittedly 99%from Merve I think that Pye had a major hand in what I called Project bring commercial radio &TV to Britain. I pointed out ages ago there were transistor radios with Atlanta and Caroline marked on the dial more or less as soon as Simon Dee spoke. Rustling said this is because it is usual for companies to invest in more than one free range egg but my point was that if it was top secret how were anyone to know the chickens were even there? Fascinating stuff Mervyn. (BTW PM CMS was born in 1947)
