... and BBC radio was the monopoly of 'the state knows best' tedium radio. Which raises the question, whats really changed? Stifled OFCOM duo-polys, the BBC more a state broadcaster than ever, community radio (excuse the yawn) but if you need to sleep can I suggest Alfred in Shaftesbury whose target audience appears to be care homes and the local rich. As for Internet Radio, enjoy it while you can, it's the last beacon of fun and variety! And to think some stupid anoraks still think it's not real radio for technical blah blah blah...

The boss of the biscuits factory where McVitie's chocolate digestives have been made for the last 100 years reckons people have always eaten them incorrectly.

Anthony Coulson, general manager at the company's chocolate refinery and bakery in Stockport, said the teatime staple was originally meant to be eaten with the chocolate-covered side facing down.

Because Ofcom still FAILS to answer the simple question "What is the future of the obsolete L & Medium broadcast bands
in the UK?", we should now regard Ofcom as some sort of computer driven "quango programme" that cannot answer a simple
direct question in a sensible way, but can only regurgitate pre-programmed responses that are of no use to anyone these days.
We ALL know broadcasting using radio is now dead in the UK, as is proven by no radios now being sold on the High Street. .
We are also now bombarded by UK TV adverts showing people sniffing each other's balls, crutches and asses.
What is Ofcom (the SUPPOSED UK media content regulator) doing about that?
Ofcom, the "quango computer generated programme", has NOT been "detailed" how to respond to thatEmoji, so Ofcom, of course,
does NOTHING.
This will be copied and posted on pirate and free radio forums as VALID reasons to do pirate, ham and free radio as we wish
in any unused radio spectrum.

Hello,

We waited with anticipation as we always do for Caroline/Revenge to be on the TV. And then it is and then just as soon, it is over.
I should mention that Nigel Harris and Johnny Lewis and Laura Pursey from our FM spin off station also gave up their time, but sadly did not make it to the final edit.
They wanted a silly old bugger namely me and a bright young thing namely Ellie Boyce who nailed it in my view. Sadly the sequence of Portillo and Ellie dancing together also did not make the final edit.
But it was a sympathetic piece that will turn up forever more on random TV channels to our benefit.
We did get a good reaction from people who said that the TV made them realise that Caroline was still operating and that it was like rediscovering an old friend.
We certainly are the only radio station that always attracts media attention.

I thought when you keep going on about MSN it was an acknownym for Main Stream News

Now I wonder if its that word I can't speel for MicroSoft News

Every time that browser opens there are awful frightening "News Stories" like you will die if you don't have a half a million pound pension or eats apples before taking a shit and stroking a black cat before midnight or your cock will drop off

The road to Damascus barrels moment for me this morning was when I clicked on some story about "a teacher" who wanted to retire with a £200,000 pension pot and a carers allowance for his 80 year old mother

The "professionals" answer (which unfortunately I have lost to print screen) was some garbage about the usual and then the stand out phrase for me which was "When you hope or think your mother will die"
!!!!!!
Are these Microsoft MSN Explorer pages just algorithm AI answers to click bait questions which were never actually asked?

Why does this crap come up ever time we power up?
