I watched and listened to the entire Megyn monologue, but the problem with her message is the way that Richard T sees my own style: "bombastic" - while agreeing with the substance.

Throughout her career on mainstream US TV news shows Megyn has upset everyone - including Donald Trump. So how is a person supposed to notify others of danger?

The advice to those being attacked in the USA is to cry "FIRE!" - because no one will respond to "HELP!"

James McGregor is a typical example. He pretends to be a neo-John Milton with his amateur prose, although McGregor will be forgotten when he dies, unlike Milton. What McGregor wants to know the answer to, is:

"JFK went to Ireland and O'Rahilly was not there - he was in Texas but O'Rahilly never admitted that.

I don't know why you keep harping on about about this as if he was going to have a personal audience. Just don't understand what your obsession with this is. The Queen has been near here loads of times. Once upon a time I lived near her residence . I have not met her. I am sure she is very nice."

McGregor never claimed to have met "Jimmy" and received a case full of cash, got turned on by the picture of female toddler and started a radio station to play records by Georgie Fame that were made by McGregor.

But Ronan O'Rahilly claimed all that and that he was a fan - a huge fan of JFK.

But none of those events happened and Ronan O'Rahilly never met JFK in Ireland but he could have.

Ronan O'Rahilly by his own admission was an idiot - a fool who learned nothing except how to lie, cheat and steal from other people.

McGregor hoists O'Rahilly on a pedestal and worships him.

The Wuhan name is as feared now as is the word truth. It is a more than 50% probability that Covid came from there and it was a military engineered virus that "escaped" into the general population.

So the media reaction is to ban people, from the President of the USA on down if someone tells the truth about Wuhan and about the virus.

Megyn is bombastic.

A smoke alarm is shrill and bombastic.

What the hell does McGregor not understand when he hears an alarm?

Yes, it could be a malfunction, but if upon looking up from his sleep he sees first the smoke and then the flames, what should he do?

Then he hears the bombastic voice of someone shouting "FIRE!"

Obviously he should behave like anoraks do and write some more gobbledegook to ridicule the person shouting "FIRE!"

Apart from the vanity of seeing my daily litter drops are noticed by anyone thank you for demonstrating I still have the power to put ideas into your mind when you run out of your Woolworths Pick and Mix

I still do not get it. The Queen mother drove past my school in the 70's. I remember it clearly. She was not driving, she was wearing fuchsia pink and waved at us. I though she looked very kind. We children were in our best uniforms and all waved little Union flags on little sticks. Afterwards we all drew little pictures. Unfortunately mine did little justice to her radiance

He would not have been plucked out for tea and biscuits. I do not understand why you keep implying this grandiose impression. Anyhow he was on an important business trip to Texas to further his radio vision. Tea and biscuits with Bobby at the White House would come late or would have done if like Dr King all three had been cruelly slain away

I do not know anything about John Milton. I have vaguely heard of Paradise Lost but would have guessed he was of a 19 century vintage so thanks for expanding my litter drop Wiki education for the day

Round here Milton is an area of Stoke on Trent which specifically can no way be described as Paradise Found

O'Rahilly was the one who claimed to be in love with JFK and JFK would have shunned Ronan O'Rahilly and for Jocelyn Stevens to have associated with O'Rahilly implies that aristocrat Stevens like neo-royalty JFK, must have thought that O'Rahilly was one of the biggest useful fools that he had ever met. James you are playing the part of someone getting more and more stupid as the days progress.

This from April 2020:

When the virus began to shut everything down in DC it was obvious that my job as an intern was going to be shut down like everything else. So I decided to go and mind my uncle's equally silent antiques business in Canton, Texas.

I stopped off at his house in Scotland, yes there is such a place and it even has its own Post Office. My uncle Tom Haler gave me the keys and a pile of books and a couple of movies to watch and pass the time.

One of the books is 'The Big Sleep' by Raymond Chandler which they made into a movie - which my uncle handed to me. I watched it while reading the book. What a mess. How did this movie ever become a classic?

The book was cobbled together by Chandler from his own short stories that had been previously published and book gets into some heavy sexual relations for that time. But when the movie was made all that was cut out and it leaves the viewer wondering what the fuss was all about as far as the plot is concerned, which by the way, no longer makes any sense.

My uncle is a PI and he was dressing like Bogart when he came down to open up his large antiques showroom. He sort of played the part. I suppose it was Bogart and Bacall who 'made' the movie, but you end up following them and not the plot which was gutted by the film censors.

Anyway, he also loaded me up with a bunch of books about the 1960s and pirate radio ships, and, an equally stupid movie called 'Pirate Radio' (it had another title in the UK and was about half and hour longer.) Well, this is another book-film mess like 'The Big Sleep' which is a noir euphemism for death.

It gave me the idea of writing a book about all this to pass away the time. In my mind I am balancing film censors of the 1940s and music censors of the 1960s with suggestions by my uncle who seems to have his left foot in the 40s and his right foot in the 60s while living his life as a PI today. Well, he was until this Virus came along and now everyone is sitting around filling up the life with projects, or getting bored.

At least Canton is in the great East Texas countryside but the only problem being that as days go by the temperature starts to rise and everyone wants to retreat under air conditioning.

Oh yes! That post by 'Caroline Brooks' all looks rather silly now, doesn't it? It's almost as if Mervyn invented the whole story as if to imply that her Uncle Tom inspired her to write a book. You know, the one that never happened. Pity 'Caroline' did not post more to her Facebook page to keep her many friends up to date with her progress. I wonder why she abandoned social media so quickly after a shortlived flurry of activity to bolster her credibility. Perhaps because of the lack of engagement from anyone.

A cynic might be forgiven for thinking that it's all the work of Mr. Hagger.

It was perfectly normal for Peter Phillips to be dismissed as a former petrol pump jockey then given the opportunity to the programme controller of a major pan European radio operation, and he turned it down for a tinpot job of radio obscurity. GS are so confused and concussed about the New Free Radio truth bomb policies they are having to big up Laser 558 again! This is another memory muscle exercise for me because I recall that the original version prompted by you or interpreted by John Burch was that he might have been having a nice apple pie homely time in his favorite armchair reading his favorite newspaper maybe a local Texan one or "THE WALL STREET JOURNAL"

How do these amusing apple pie anecdote and guesses about Don Pierson having an all American pipe and slippers life and wife differ from daft anecdotes about Ronan managing bands and bunking off school to go to the pictures. (Highly unlikely he would have been given a good Catholic thrashing) I got a term Fort Worth detention for skipping mass in he 80's

So far as I can see. The puzzle you have done is an extremely obsessive job of a jigsaw player. You have got the corners. You are even making sense of some of the images. A lot of these were under your nose in the public domain like a haphazard but interesting unfinished interview in DJ&Radio magazine. At the end of the day who cares. Dr Malcolm Zachary Smith must be either fed up or in hibernation. He could land on his friend DR Martin's Planet and instantly dismiss beyond reasonable doubt to any court in the kingdom there are nasty lies and gossip going round about the history of the world today. Did it tire him out setting the record straight on AR Trip last year. Ronan was also a keen follower of the teachings of Gandhi and the Maharishi Yoga Man and so like John and Bobby and Martin Luther was very in the fashion of new age thinking. This is how he came up the the LA concept. Which is slowly but surely becoming more accepted, recognised and practised as bringing health and eco system benefits both in the gardens and fields and in the City of London and other leading financial superstructures. He detested capitalist exploitation and only dealt with money lenders for a means to the end because he was expert at pulling their greedy strings. So what if he had a nice flat. Where do you expect a great leader to live, a caravan? Like another great leader born 2000 years ago he came from humble beginnings and went into his father's business. After having an excellent career which even now is only just being fully recognised. He passed away the King of Kings. We Mourn and Honour his memory and defend his faith

This is a true story.

It is a complicated story, because when the 'Trio' began their investigation, it was after the passage of many years since the foundational events they were enquiring into had taken place. More than that, those foundational events each had different authors, and the individual creators of those events were secretive about they were actually doing, rather than making it known what they were really doing.

Human rivalry: jealousy, and greed all played their part to confuse, mislead and disguise the fact that there is a continuing master storyline to be discovered. But in the beginning, the 'Trio' merely came into contact with individuals who knew intriguing pieces of what is in fact a gigantic jigsaw puzzle with thousands of interlocking pieces. But the complete 'picture on the box' of this particular jigsaw puzzle is yet to be seen, because not all of the pieces have been located. However, enough pieces have now been found and assembled so that we can begin to offer this description about the mystery that it has concealed from view.

We can refer to a jigsaw with thousands of pieces, or we can liken this mystery to a pebble being dropped into a pool of still water where its plunge has created a displacement that creates ripples radiating in all directions which in turn creates more ripples of displacement, and they continue to do so until the originating energy has dissipated into stillness once more.

Now some of us "sobers" would say you are describing a biblical review of an organised religion? You attack one branch of faith with some rather interesting ideas about how all the existing books about Radio London 266 are slightly summarised. I don't doubt they are. Nobody is fully prepared to read the book.

If you know something about music that would be a big help.

If you know something about Ireland and its history, that would help.

Don't try and read it too quickly. Read it out loud as it does come alive.

I have enjoyed it the more I have delved into it.

If anyone is looking for an easy read, it is not for them.

It is challenging, it is worthwhile, because it's got huge depth to it.

If you discover that an episode is too difficult, don't be deterred and move on.

This is not a detective novel where you have to get the clues in chapter three in order to read chapter four.

Read and dwell on small pieces at a time. Take it slow.

Although Ulysses had been banned in the US and UK, it never formally was in Joyce's native Ireland.

Irish authorities believed so few would read the novel, they didn't need to bar it, argues Prof McCourt.

"Joyce was the outsider looking into Ireland," he says.

"In terms of the Irish reception, it was deeply resented that from abroad he dared to criticise how things were in the Ireland of 1922, the way nationalism was and the limits of that inward looking state that was set up and was dominated by the Catholic Church."

'The safe side of distance'
Joyce had a hugely complicated relationship with the country of his birth, and vice versa.

He left in 1904 aged in his early 20s, and made four subsequent visits, but after 1912 he never again returned.

And yet his works are set in Ireland, with Dublin in many ways a character in itself.

Joyce wanted to change Ireland by changing the way the Irish saw themselves, Prof McCourt argues.

"He was hugely connected to Ireland. He knew he wasn't going to make any friends through his books, he couldn't have done it had he stayed in Ireland.

"He had to do it from what he calls in Finnegans Wake, the 'safe side of distance'."

There were some, though, who recognised Joyce's importance, says Prof McCourt.

These included Irish government minister Desmond Fitzgerald, who called on Joyce in Paris and proposed that he be nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature.

But overall the hostility to Joyce continued right up to and including his death in 1941 in Zurich, to the extent that there was no official Irish representation at his funeral.

A cult following
The tide of opinion took a long time to shift.

The first Bloomsday - named after Leopold Bloom - celebrated in Ireland was held on 16 June 1954 (16 June 1904 is the date depicted in the novel).

At that event, fans including writers Flann O'Brien and Patrick Kavanagh visited various locations from the book.

In June 1962, the James Joyce Museum was opened by Beach in the Martello Tower in the south Dublin suburb of Sandycove.

In 1982, events were staged in the country to mark Joyce's 100th birthday.

A New York Times report on the day's "national celebration" reflected the change in public opinion.

"On his centenary, Dublin honors the Joyce it once scorned", its headline read.

Now, one hundred years since the publication of Ulysses, Joyce is revered, at home and abroad.

Ulysses has almost a cult following, as well as a reputation for being a challenging and at times impenetrable read.

Fans dress up in Edwardian costumes for Bloomsday each year, with Dublin at the centre of the pageantry.

There lovers of the book pay homage by going on pilgrimage to the novel's various locations, or attend readings or performances.

Buying gas and oil from other countries does not help with climate change and leaves us exposed to more price hikes. Nuclear power would provide for all our islands electrical energy and is proven to be reasonably safe and clean. If you still got a gas hob or boiler you would have you get used to it or get colder. The Ross Revenge has solar panels
