It is clear that broadcasting on the Medium Wave in Europe is coming to an end. It's no more likely to make a come back than VHS tapes. Old anoraks can remember days gone by with fondness, but the reality is that from a commercial point of view the waveband is no longer fit for purpose. A generation bought up on the internet, gaming, podcasts and short attention span conditioning, are hardly going to bother with AM, and those a little older are at the very least going to expect FM quality.
DAB (Dead and Buried) remains a very poor substitute for AM broadcasting and even the masters of brainwashing BBC after countless campaigns extolling the virtues of DAB have failed to gain the traction expected. 5G could even be the finish of DAB. It's much cheaper to use bandwidth than maintain and power transmitters. Perhaps hobby radio does have some mileage, broadcasting to yourself and a few mates could give the Medium Wave a few more years of life, thinking about it, there are a good number of parallels with today's community radio stations, small, reliant on volunteers and by comparison to the mainstream, small audiences are all that can be expected.
If your business model is reliant on AM & DAB then you are going to need either deep pockets or a generous audience, that getting younger everyday. Otherwise the clock is ticking and the end is no longer even over the horizon. The reality is that the world of media has changed, music companies are no longer that concerned with music radio in the UK, they are more concerned about their own futures as they too are becoming less important. The following video is about today's media world, not some rose tinted memories of days gone by.
Some folk leave comments here when they have clearly done little research into the reality around them. Many people are conditioned from birth in how to think, listen and accept information. For example BBC News readers always speak with authority, with an air of importance, the constant drip, drip, drip of we know whats right and what matters most. That Sky News and ITV report pretty much the same information day in and day out serves to reinforce the narrative, these are the facts that count, we are the news so just sit back and listen.
Culturally many are also conditioned by the optics of democracy, you have the Left Wing, the Centre and the Right wing and you must sit somewhere within those parameters, identifying with those near you and those who speak on your behalf. Those who disagree with you can be placed on the line where you feel they belong and then attacked by using the stereotypical traits you identify are theirs. It's a useful mechanism for those who really pull the strings, it keeps you preoccupied by the talking points chosen for you by the Mockingbirds. It's even worse in the USA where the mainstream media use the same talking points and even the same sentences whether it be CNN, CBS, ABC, or the local news outlets. Here is a current example.
So personal research is useful if you are trying to see outside of the bubble imposed by your preconceived opinions and personal comfort zone. For example if you identify as a socialist, you may feel comfortable only reading from websites that are like minded, but does that give you the full picture and what is the validity of others who sit outside of your little world.
Anyway, here is an article in two parts, that dig a little deeper on the role of Big Pharma and the current Covid 19 plandemic sorry pandemic. Also I have attached a link to a document regarding the HCQ-AZ combination that has a high success rate in curing the condition according to these health professionals. Now why are BBC News continuing to ignore this? - Who controls the British Government response to Covid–19?

Here's a short video that gives us a reasonable background for Bill Gates. Microsoft was no rags to riches tale as you will learn. Love or hate Microsoft and it's monopolistic cravings, it's been a vehicle for Bill Gates to spread his influence and personal agendas from. Linux platforms are consistently better than Microsoft and open source (free to use and further develop), but when you have the marketing clout of Microsoft they can remain dominant, a legacy and culture Mr Gates has left them with. So who was Bill Gates before Microsoft, and what of Mr Gates today...
