We are now in possession of the original Radio Caroline Bible along with the revised version. Beginning this month Now & Then will start to examine the accuracy of the books account of the beginning of Radio Caroline. This will be undertaken on our new 'The Review' page.

You may still wonder why Mervyn Hagger, Eric Gilder, Genie Baskir & Caroline Brooks (the last being the pen name of a real person) are extremely upset by Paul Rusling's publication. Mervyn has indeed voiced that anger felt and in no uncertain terms. Having sat down for the first time yesterday to start reading the book I started to quickly understand why.

You see I had read a lot of this material before. Back in early 2019 I started to receive research material from the above mentioned 'trio'. Some of it had been developed years before, more had been unraveled after Mervyn Hagger had come across the book 'Radio Man' the story of C.O Stanley.

This research by 'the trio' is extensive and the supporting documentation equally so. The level of detail helps in verifying individuals, dates, locations and more. It is also remarkable that many of those involved in the beginning of Radio Caroline have been interviewed by Mervyn Hagger (I have seen plenty of the emails & transcripts).

That Paul Rusling has claimed much of this as his own work is astonishing. Ironically whilst a few lonely anoraks praise Paul for his masterpiece, the reality is that they are reading someone else's paid for research without even realizing it!

I even feel some of that anger myself, to me this is at best an injustice. That anoraks have derided Mervyn Hagger and the trio egged on by Mr Rusling himself at times just goes to show how duped or stupid these individuals are. However I hope to keep those emotions in check and provide a balanced & reasoned review (accompanied by a small group of people who are assisting me). We hope to begin in a couple of days.

Not making any comment on Paul Rusling book. Would however question the statement that Mervyn Hagger has interviewed many of those involved at the beginning of Radio Caroline - who did he interview?.
I know that I've interviewed many involved with offshore radio, that have been published in Offshore Echo's magazine. Colin Nicol, Ray Clark and Keith Skues have also carried out many interviews. As far as I'm aware Mervyn has carried out few, if any interviews.

First of all thanks for commenting here, we know each other albeit me under a different name from many years ago. Feel free to email me at [email protected] & I will clarify matters some more.

OK I have seen a lot of email correspondence from Mervyn to a number of people from the early days of Caroline. They are broadly question & answer conversations that in all fairness are more thorough than a sit down interview in as much as they give the individual more time to remember and recall the past.

I am not a spokesperson for Mervyn & I know you have his contact details so perhaps you might also talk to him directly. You might be surprised who he is talking to.

I have had my own conversation with Keith Skues, unfortunately Ronan was there & he made his feelings towards Keith all to well known (they were not good shall say). For all the LA in the world Ronan could hold a grudge!

Hi Chris - My contact with Colin Nichol has been extensive and ongoing and Colin has shared what he knew and he conducted Q&A sessions for me with his colleagues in Australia who were present at the birth of Radio Atlanta.

I had a lengthy exchange with George Saunders, who,like you, become somewhat alarmed by the direction my investigation was going when I began to tangle with the upper and secretive echelons of the British Crown. I am a Lilburne republican, but George is a royalist!.

George is not a fan of Keith Skues, and his work (which I have) contains the same rubbish that a lot of anorak books contain. I am investigative journalist and not an anorak.

I am still working with Genie Baskir who worked with me and Don Pierson in Texas.

I worked with Ben Freedman in Texas and investigated the legal history of PAMS for him.

I worked with Genie investigating the 'Radio Caroline Case' in Philadelphia. I had a lot of contact with the British Crown officials and US Federal government officials. That came about by accident due to Allan Weiner.

I had access to the radio involvement of Herbert W. Armstrong who financed the stations. Rusling can't even get the name of 'Ambassador College' correct and Rusling has absolutely no idea of how the dots connect. He knows zilch about Radio Manx / Manx Radio, or Radio Yorkshire or Radio Cambridge, but he drops names to make anoraks think that he does.

I have also been interviewing people connected to the board of Project Atlanta Limited, and no one seems to have even asked who those shareholders really were, and that goes for Planet Productions as well.

Beatrix Miller is deceased but I have been investigating everything I can about this lady and her reason for inventing a name which was later applied to a radio station called Caroline.Her story about that name is not what everyone has been led to believe, and that is especially true of the story spun by O'Rahilly. In fact, Rusling has stolen so much from us and melded it to anorak fiction that he has actually published a LOT of highly controversial material that the moronic anoraks have totally glossed over.

I interviewed and wrote about Ted Allbuery for a Birmingham newspaper.

I went into business with Allan Crawford.

Before Ray Anderson popped up I interviewed Tom Danaher and I worked with Ben Toney - who also decided to smear and wrtie a Rusling-esque "autobiography" .

I have avoided the anoraks because they are as Garry Stevens branded them, a kind of ridiculous church full of nonsense and radiating hate towards this investigation - which is now nearing completion. The version out there featuring Ronan O'Rahilly is the most absurd story ever told that mass media has swallowed without a blink.

As you know, I have co-authored many academic articles all based upon research, with Dr Gilder. The anoraks ignore all of that as they ignore the content of the documentary radio and television programs I participated in.

If you mean that I have not hung around people like 'Pinky', you are absolutely correct, but this story - the real story is 100% unknown to the anoraks - apart from where Rusling stole material and claimed it as his own.

Then there is the story published by Bill Weaver. I not only have conducted many conversations with his widow and daughter, but they sent me manuscripts by Bill and which were changed after his death. As you know I met Bill in Texas and the key engineers involved with Radio Nord, and that is how I knew that Ronan O'Rahilly had been sent to Texas in June 1963 - a fact no one else in the UK knew, and O'Rahilly spun lie after lie after lie trying to deceive everyone. He was aided in this by Ian Cowper Ross.

Now there's an interesting story. Who knew (before we uncovered the story), that Charles Edward Ross was promoting a dry cleaning business?

It is a shame that we have not continued to work on this investigation because I do appreciate everything you did, because that early work became the 'trigger' that begat this ongoing research.

What we have uncovered now is a story that is nothing like anything told by Keith Skues or any other DJ. Keith Skues seems to know nothing and George Saunders agrees.

I resented the smear that Johnnie Walker embarked upon with Steve England by attacking Don Pierson's deceased mother. But DJs are like that - full of vanity.

It was John Burch and Chris England who got me to investigate the Ross Revenge episode of the 1980s, but our primary interest is in writing - for the very first time anywhere - the real story about Radio Caroline that was killed off forever on August 14, 1967.

So if you mean that I am ignoring the cesspool of self-promoting DJs and the like, you are 100% correct.

The real story is so different from anything published to date that it is impossible to tell it in one book That is why we are going to publish it as a partwork ongoing series.

I seem to have exceeded the length of a post or I accidentally deleted part of it before sending it.

I was going to mention Genie's Texas lawsuit that she filed decades ago against one of the Texas School Boards, and how I still have the official transcript and a massive article about it that I wrote for the Fort Worth Star Telegram.

No one listened back then, but now, in 2021, parents in Virginia where Genie lives, there are parents of primary school children showing up at school board meetings and blasting them for adopting this really stupid, anti-Martin Luther King program called 'The 1619 Project'. It is a rewriting of history about slavery. Its premise is that all white men are evil - like Satan. It is an outgrowth of the same daft racist religion that Cassius Clay first signed up to. It is the BLM movement gone totally bonkers. It may be heading for the UK. Go on YouTube or Google and learn more about it. We have bought the book for our library.

We have also bought a lot of books about the history of oil and gas and the North Sea. Because that is part of the story behind REM island and Radio Caroline.

We have also been buying up old issues of 'The Queen' magazine to read what it published and not what others said that it published.

Trump, when asked if Wuhan was intentional, did not want to go there.

He said on camera that if it was, it was war! The US is not going to attack British royalty over sex crimes - start that and the UK will be cut off from military secrets and then military protection. Ditto with the truth about 'Climate Change'

But if you unravel part of the real Radio Caroline story you get into Radio London and the birth of international tax evasion that was put into play by Burton Kanter in Chicago.

If you begin to disturb the fake story about Radio Caroline which is a story for old men and starry-eyed kids and that is all, then you light the fuse to a huge bomb that will explode and blow-up the propaganda that mass media has been feeding us.

My view is this:

We are all destined to die.

This World is not our creation and it got on just fine for billions of years before human beings showed up. So I look at my life and wonder "Why was I born?" I am convinced that just as a few have come along and either destroyed like Hitler, or tried to make good like Lilburne, my life is about making available the real story behind Radio Caroline, and it had nothing to do with music, or teenagers it had to do with power politics in a game played within the Establishment by a bunch of aristocrats, and I am not one of them.

Donald Trump has made clear that there is a line that officials cannot cross without triggering what could be both a nuclear and biological World War III.

So officials won't put the story out there and just as they tried to shut up John Lilburne (1615-1657), they failed in one sense.Because if you look carefully among the stacks in dusty old libraries, you will find the legacy that he left behind for people like me.

You are right, I won't change the world or even the minds of most anoraks. But I can be part of a team that leaves behind the evidence for a new generation of thinkers - like me.

Our Trio aims to leave its mark for individuals who will follow on and who are not swallowing everything they are told.

Now here's the thing. Somebody called Admin brings up the subject of a new book called the Radio Caroline Bible, written by Paul Rusling. It is apparently yet another book detailing the bulk standard Caroline owners version of events down the years. No problem here then. Well except that Mervyn is credited in the book and wants nothing to do with it. Now as these Caroline fans have got their way, Mervyn is no more on their boards, then they need not even know this. BUT and it is a big but, they do know and what's more for some strange reason some are going loco, because their version of events that is now even becoming a bible, still doesn't sit well with Mr Hagger. So the Free Radio Forum springs back into life with the usual trolls venting their spleens and even moving on to attacking the old board and Garry.

Well then, what's this really all about. It is becoming pretty clear that many of these vocal Caroline fans clearly are interested in what Mervyn has to say, almost obsessed in some cases. Some say Denial is a river in Africa. However is that denial of Caroline's early history being rather different to the unrevised bible version soon to be published, starting to cause a few "what if's". Time will tell, but without doubt the line that "nobody is interested in this old stuff" has warn rather thin, as even the most devoted church members are obviously keeping a watching brief on the 'third' board.

Still on a lighter note it's good to see that everyone is agreed that Radio Caroline has got it just right with today's musical format! You What? They are What? Where? Oh over on Garry's board. Well I am sure Now & Then can add some words of wisdom to that debate (coming soon)....

Logic Checker you are right. If it's not onshore (land) then it is offshore (water). The issue seems to be boxing in the anoraks because Reith's BBC played gramophone records and in the early days before the Crown took over, sponsored programs were heard on BBC airwaves - so long as they were non-controversial and mainly devoted to music. What was not permitted were broadcasts by Jehovah's Witnesses; Mormons; Pentecostalists and of course Hindi or Islamic or any other form of non-Establishment approved religion, and of course, product advertising of any kind. The anoraks are without a cause that makes any sense whatsoever because they are not campaigning for freedom of political speech on the airwaves that can be purchased by anyone.

Offshore means situated or happening in the sea, near to the coast. That does not include the River Thames on the boat race route. Look it up.

There was only one major difference between the BBC and Caroline North (after the arrival of Radio London), and that was polemical broadcasting, and you still can't buy time for these broadcasts on the legit UK commercial stations.

The real Radio Caroline died in 1967, and so after that the polemical threat had disappeared. The Crown was safe.

Mervyn I think the idea of an all day or even 24/7 music source is to be available to a mass market. The mainstream market is this case might well be described as housewives choice or workers play time with fish fingers commercials

This is in response to the semi-sane James McGregor ramble. I write semi-sane because he is not writing in riddles, but he is writing in generalities - and therein is the cause of the loony brigade of Caroline supporters and their retaliation against exposure - which James is supporting by his rambles.

James also wrote this:

The facts in evidence support this.

The facts in evidence also show that the FIRST British offshore radio and then television transmitting stations were operated under GPO license on behalf of the BBC, and that John Reith's number one enemy was not a record company, but the press barons who wanted to stop the BBC from broadcasting news. They eventually settled for a news version of 'needle time'. The record story is but a smokescreen covering up the real story.

The real story begins in 1660 with the creation of the GPO and mass censorship. It is tied to the phony history of the British Crown who created the GPO. The big fear by the British Crown has always been political or polemical talk.

In fairly modern times of the 1980s, only Charlie Wolf stumbled into that fact, but Charlie never knew what power he was really challenging by accident, nor did he understand the power used against him to put him off the Laser airwaves - before he might have made that discovery.

Charlie Wolf could have become a real Lord Haw Haw that could have had an influence on young voters. But he was put off the airwaves and went back to Utah and enrolled in political studies at university. Contrary to what Chris Edwards implied, I had a long discussion with Charlie Wolf about that phase of Charlie's life that had just ended in the UK.

Charlie came back to the UK and was a spokesman for the Donald Trump point of view over the controlled BBC airwaves. But Charlie Wolf was not in front of his own microphone and so he was 'controlled'.

Charlie Wolf had been neutered before he became dangerous to the Crown.

Charlie never seemed to know what he had landed into when he landed on the Communicator. It was not about the music, it was all about the message and Charlie was growing up before a microphone just as Rush Limbaugh was getting into his stride over hundreds of US stations with the same sort of message and approach that Charlie Wolf was grappling with on board Laser.

The only way to reveal that Garry Stevens and Paul Rusling and Keith Skues and Johnnie Walker and all the rest of those empty boxes of self-promoting vanity, is to document the true story fact by fact in the same way that a court of law would demand.

Hopefully the verdict of history on all those vessels of hot air who bask in the adulation of know-nothing anoraks, will disappear from the shelves of even the charity shops and in years to follow will be vaguely recalled as the bags of empty vain glory that they all represent today.

In the same vein, it would be interesting to see if, with a fresh look at that moment in the career of Charlie Wolf, when it is re-examined, he could have become a new Rush Limbaugh, or would the British Crown have decided "enough is enough" and used a team to send a bullet into his head in the same way that they ended the lives of 'troublemakers' in Gibraltar?

My guess is that Charlie, who is a US citizen, dodged a bullet.

I mainly remember Charlie Wolf for being adopted as the New Messiah of free radio
Mainly due to the Eurosiege when of course America was still seen as some masturbatory fantasy land where they got to see new films six months ahead of us. As they were still internet unconnected and still a 3000 miles away TV dream shore of Statue of Liberty and HollywoodWankland. This seemed to be just as acceptable as all the years before and a few years after.
The strap line of All Europe Radio being, in the circumstances of high powered popular American pirates from ships probably getting up the nasal hairs of Thatch's of Downing Street. Fine Barbers. Margaret gave the Communicator a buzz cut and Ray Anderson made some Charlie videos to smooth over his resettlement as the official Caroline Movement Pet

Stone has been dragged over the coals by the media ever since his first film came out. Stone argues that the mainstream media is corrupt, not interested in the truth, and is essentially the mouthpiece of the government. He has a point. Jim Garrison was subjected to all kinds of allegations from the media for daring to question the official report. His family was threatened and his key witnesses – Jack Ruby and David Ferry – were murdered.

Then we have the fact that the US press accepted the Warren Report without any real scrutiny. You now want to divert attention to something else. Okay, we won't duck the issue. I am not sure which article you are referring because you did not say. However, we have written a series of articles that have changed as our knowledge base increase. This includes one about Radio Caroline. It was not until 2014 with the help of Chris Edwards at OEM that we discovered that the one story we thought we knew (about Radio Caroline), we did not know at all. We admitted it.

Go and look at our 'Radio Caroline' article concerning its origins. We swallowed the entire bilge book of the anoraks, but with the help of Chris Edwards we discovered the true story - which we are still researching.

Now with regards to George Orwell (Eric Blair), the original title of his book has a story behind it which you do not seem to be aware of. First, the working title was not '1984' and written as 'Nineteen Eighty Four'. While the manuscript was written earlier, the publisher, upon advice from the US distributor, changed the name of the book!

Orwell planned to call it 'The Last Man in Europe', but after submitting his original manuscript the title of 'Nineteen Eighty-Four' was used instead.

Atlantisgb! - rather than asking a question about a specific article and citing a page and line, you simply decide that we made a mistake. What a pity you don't ask first and condemn afterwards. Put another way, what a pity you are not ridiculing this nonsense about 'Sir Hans Knot' and Rusling's Bible which contains page after page of sheer rubbish - all founded upon the 'Jimmy' myth.

Read Rusling's first edition and compare its text with that of his 'updated' edition. It is not the same text, but no matter how he tried to modify it, the text remains garbage and unsupported by any factual evidence.

We do give you explanations and where we are wrong we do offer corrections. But are you big enough to admit that you have been fooled by Garry Stevens, Ray Clark, Paul Rusling and yes, even OEM?

Why Chris Edwards decided to break with us after HE (Chris Edwards) was instrumental in uncovering part of the story, we don't know. Maybe if he did the entire OEM magazine would collapse. The fact is that OEM is currently supporting a big lie about Ronan O'Rahilly, and privately, Chris Edwards knows this. He knows Rusling is a fraud and he knows that Hans Knot is supporting a big lie.

Why don't the anoraks have the guts to admit this?

It is rather coincidental that the last two posts essentially say the same thing in both topic and conclusions regarding a lack of a foundational point. They both employ the Steve Martin comedy line that "you can be a millionaire and never pay taxes". The explanation as to HOW you can become a millionaire is never answered. Never explained. This is foundational point number one. Steve Martin immediately moves on to explaining WHY you have never paid taxes on a million dollars. That is point number two.

But if you have never had a million dollars to pay taxes on, then point number two is irrelevant.

So it is with have "joint managing directors".

If there isn't a company - a single company - then there isn't any need for even one managing director. In fact, there isn't one director - let alone two directors from which to name 2 managing directors, because there is no company.

Since this phantom company with 2 managing directors relate to an operation that goes by the name of Radio Caroline which controls 2 ships, a bunch of djs and a handful of engineers, the question is: did these people work for a company called 'Radio Caroline'?

The answer is 'no', there was no such company, however, the ships, the djs and the engineers did exist and they did work for (got paid) by someone or something.

The question then is 'WHO'?

The next question which is really the first question, is why did this unnamed entity want to employ these people and lease or buy two ships and outfit them with bought and paid for equipment?

No one (but us) has asked these fundamentally basic questions. Instead, a lot of people have been interviewing people who don't know the answers and then self-publishing information which is nothing more than gossip.

So when one question (page 276) led to another question it took a lot of time and a lot of money to begin finding the answers and in short, OEM got scared of where our investigation was going and dropped out.

OEM was our partner is answering the first question about page 276, and we found the first answer in a joint venture. But that first answer raised a lot of questions and we have the correspondence that put those questions in writing. The concerned a man named Alan Bednall who is now deceased.

So we contacted Bednall's daughter and others who may have known the answer because her father had left clues behind. Then the PRHoF contacted us and supplied a recording and a hand-written document that apparently originated with Ray Clark which no one could fathom because it dated back to 1960.

Then there was the mystery over the name 'Caroline' which we discovered by buying up a large quantity of old 'Queen' magazines and reading the fine print in them and matching that information to official documentation.

In all of this there was a gap.

First, someone leased a ship and almost simultaneously someone else bought another ship.

Second, a sales company was registered in February 1964, which was some time after someone had leased a ship and bought another ship.

On the same day that the sales company was formed, the editor of 'Queen' quit Jocelyn Stevens. Now those in the know who wrote for Jocelyn Stevens said that Beatrix Miller, the editor of 'Queen' had originated the name 'Caroline'.

Then Ronan O'Rahilly enters the picture with Ian Cowper Ross and they begin inventing a storyline that is totally false but which all of the anoraks immediately locked on to.

So, we continued to do what we set out to do and followed the money trail and now we have many of the answers.

We are now filling in details.

No one leases and buys ships; hires djs and engineers and buys a lot of electrical equipment without leaving a paper trail - years before the Internet has even been dreamed of as an everyday tool.

Now you know what we are doing and why so many self-publishing idiots have so much to lose by us revealing the true story.

They know that the days of the anorak community are growing shorter and shorter and shorter. Which rock will they finally crawl under when the true story is finally revealed?

I don't necessarily like Mervyn' s bombastic approach. it says a lot about him as a person.

However I do agree with his view on how anoraks see the BBC, MoA, Harold Wilson and Tony Benn. Their thinking since 1967 has been totally skewed by one act of Parliament, that is a small dot on the bigger picture.

Can you reason with them?

No!

One in particular who calls himself Freddie Archer is on a one man crusade to close the BBC!

Why?

It's because he holds them partly responsible for that Act which eventually led to the closure of his beloved Radio Caroline.

His ramblings are met with derision from anyone with a modicum of sanity, but that doesn't stop him. He is right!

That is but one example that backs Mervyn's view of the mad Anorak fraternity.

Thanks Richard T, I am quite a soft-spoken teddy bear in ordinary life, But I am one of those people who others wait for to kick up a fuss. That is why my hero is Freeborn John Lilburne (1615-1657) who King Charles I hated, and then Oliver Cromwell said "its either him or me" and so he threw Lilburne into Dover castle and threw away the key. But Lilburne is the basis of America's right to remain silent in the US Constitution and a lot more besides that. Lilburne was related to Thomas Jefferson, and US Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black credited Lilburne as the true foundation of America's Bill of Rights. Sometimes it is necessary to step forward and say "Enough of all this", and so I stepped forward when no one else would. Think of me as the baby on the motorbike in the Fairy liquid commercial - but do not read anything into that brand name because I am married to someone of the opposite sex. I don't like government agents who lie and cheat, and for that reason I am very angry with the anoraks who are the opposite of truth and justice because they lie and steal in the name of their own financial freedom. Read Rusling saying "screw you" to people he claims are his friends.

Mervyn, you have just shown part of a document that lists Barry Ainley as a director of Planet Productions. Could you please publish all the names on that document. I have two letters from 1966 that includes Roger L Trapnell (who was a stockbroker) and Eugene L Gomeche (ex Project Atlanta accountant) listed as directors of Planet Productions. Many months ago, in your blogs, you showed a reference letter from Hanacon to George Saunders. As that particular blog is missing from previous months, I would appreciate it if you could reproduce it. Thanking you in advance, Scottg.

As more information comes to light we have changed our understanding of the topic we are constantly researching.

The key is not Planet Productions Limited which did not exist before February 25, 1964, but who was paying for everything between August 1, 1963 and February 25, 1964?

No one addresses that.

Since ROR and Wijsmuller and A. N. Thomas and the early Atlanta and Caroline djs were recording programs at 47 Dean Street, that address seems be ground zero after August 1, 1963.

So where did Charles Orr Stanley fit in?

We now know.

As for what happened after October 15, 1964 when the game changed completely, well that is another matter, but we have a pretty detailed idea of what took place and it is not what everyone thinks took place.

But, you have to turn the clock back to 1959 to understand when this clock started ticking. We now have a good idea of what happened from that year until August 1, 1963, and a pretty good idea of what happened from August 1, 1963 until February 25, 1964.

But right now, in order to understand the part played by Tony Benn we have turned the clock back to the end of WWII, and from there, going backwards in time to the year 1900, and we have dusted off our assessment of John Reith as well as Tony Benn.

To understand what all of this means in context, you will have to wait until the new version of our storyline is published as partworks. The first part has been published and the second part is awaiting publication, and the third part is now being drafted.

Because our time and funds are limited we cannot publish to satisfy individual requests, and the childish attacks launched in our direction in order to protect the cult of anoraks who want to stick to their lies is not helping matters.

It would be nice if anoraks admitted that they had been conned and tried to assist in research instead of hindering everything we do.

I noticed that the two 'pebble' boards are focusing on what Ronan said in 1973 that was published in the Dejay and Radio Monthly, and no doubt they will be ripping him to shreds for admitting that he was unemployable, swindled everyone he could and hated government. I just wrote "Good old Ronan" on the Garry board. Mind you he was not the sort of person to trust with anything and even his dad threw him out of his tile manufacturing business. He tells about arriving broke in London and getting a cheap flat, which does not explain how he went from broke to dealing in thousands unless he stole the money, On the other hand he was mixing with crooks, so maybe he stole his way into starting Radio Caroline. One thing does make me wonder and that it he supposedly loved JFK but never met him when he came to Ireland, and why he worked for Jocelyn Stevens when he says that he hated aristocratic types.

O'Rahilly not only lied about Georgie Fame, naming Caroline and raising funds to put it on the air, he was a liar about his love of JFK

1. JFK went to Ireland and O'Rahilly was not there - he was in Texas but O'Rahilly never admitted that.
2. O'Rahilly was a self-confessed anarchist - anti-business and anti-politics.
3. JFK and his brother believed in the 'domino theory' and got the draft underway, shipped troops to South Vietnam and Laos.
4. JFK and RFK ran a secret war on Cuba - AFTER the Bay of Pigs.

Ronan O'Rahilly was as a useless individual and he admired JFK and RFK who were war mongers.

Finally after all of your waffling about stuff pretending to be John Milton in modern times, you finally got the point and asked the right question.

You then tied your response to you not meeting the Queen even though you lived next door to her (so to speak).

Since you are being or pretending to be (which?) totally thick, here is the answer:

You did not claim to have visited "Jimmy" with information from Allan Crawford and financed Radio Caroline in 1964.

You did not claim to have seen the picture of a toddler named Caroline and become obsessed with her and then her father John F. Kennedy.

You did not claim to be obsessed with JFK and his brother Robert.

You never met JFK yet you could have but instead you never took off for Texas but never told anyone that you did because of the lie spun about "Jimmy" who never existed.

Deal with that first issue James and your fake world of so-called "free radio" will vanish immediately.

Truth is not an obsession. Truth is reality. Lies are fantasy.

You are not John Milton reborn even though you try to write in a 'Woolworth" plastic imitation manner. You will die and be forgotten. Milton, unfortunately lingers on in historical recitals out of context.

A race against time is under way for the US Navy to reach one of its downed fighter jets - before the Chinese get there first.

The $100m (£74m) F-35C plane came down in the South China Sea after what the Navy describes as a "mishap" during take-off from the USS Carl Vinson.

The jet is the Navy's newest, and crammed with classified equipment. As it is in international waters, it is technically fair game.

Whoever gets there first, wins.

The prize? All the secrets behind this very expensive, leading-edge fighting force.

Seven sailors were injured when the jet came down on Monday after it struck Vinson's deck during a military exercise.

It is now lying on the ocean bed, but what happens next is a mystery. The Navy will not confirm either where it came down or how long it will take to retrieve it.

China claims almost the entire South China Sea and has increasingly taken steps to assert that claim in recent years, refusing to recognise a 2016 international tribunal ruling saying it had no legal basis.

On Thursday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Scottg Simmonds denied Beijing was after the stricken F-35C. "We have no interest in their aircraft," he said at a briefing.
